I am delighted to offer signed limited edition prints of the cover from Elsie Piddock Skips in Her Sleep, written by Eleanor Farjeon and illustrated by Charlotte Voake.

There are just 150 of these prints which have been beautifully produced on 310gsm Hahnemuhle fine art etching paper and individually signed and numbered by the artist. The actual image measures 420mm x 295mm, but with mounting on top this increases to approximately 580mm x 430mm.

They come mounted and wrapped ready for framing, but we can have them framed for you if you wish. Please just ask.

Last but by no means least, they each come with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist and publisher.

“By that most perfect of storytellers, Eleanor Farjeon, Charlotte Voake…has to be half fairy herself to produce such exquisitely delicate pictures.” The Guardian

First published in 1937, this is the classic story of Little Elsie Piddock who can skip like never so! This edition of the uplifting fairy story is the only illustrated version available – the Eleanor Farjeon Estate deeming Charlotte Voake the only illustrator who could do the story justice.

Elsie Piddock Skips in her Sleep, written by Eleanor Farjeon and illustrated by Charlotte Voake. This picture book edition was first published in 2000 by Walker Books Ltd.

Charlotte was personally selected by the nephew of the esteemed children’s book writer Eleanor Farjeon to illustrate this book.

Originally published in 1937, Little Elsie Piddock Skips in Her Sleep is the tale of a little girl who is so good at skipping that she can even outskip fairies. Her reward is a gift of great power that she uses against a very unpleasant landowner.

Please accept my apologies for the fact that the scans of the larger pieces have not reproduced well here.
